My journalism roots date back to age 14 when I was the features editor, and later assistant editor-in-chief of my high school newspaper, The Rock. Growing up in a college town with a renowned journalism program afforded me the opportunity to learn about the world of media at a young age.
I went on to discover public relations in college and have been fortunate enough to work with companies such as Disney and Darden. While maintaining my day job in publicity, I founded a local food blog in 2013, Spork Orlando, which later evolved into writing for both local and national publications.
My interest in wine was spurred when I passed the Introductory Sommelier Course and Examination with The Court of Master Sommeliers in 2015. In 2022 I passed the WSET Level 3 Wines Certified. I've continued to work in the wine and spirits world ever since in a variety of storytelling roles.
